LOCAL ACTION TEAM NEWS

Our next meeting, which is on Wednesday 23rd July, is to be held in the Garden Room at Boxgrove Village Hall. We are hoping this will encourage more people from Boxgrove to attend.
Please remember to call in all incidents of anti-social behaviour or driving. Your call may not be answered straight away but every call is counted and logged and it does build up a picture for the Police of what is happening in the area.
The Boxgrove, Tangmere and Oving LAT exists to deal with issues of crime and anti-social behaviour and improvements to the local environment. If you would like to get involved or have issues you feel we should be dealing with please attend the next meeting on 23rd July or ring Jayne Sansby, the current Chair, on 780316.

WORKING TOGETHER

Local Action Team Meeting
For Tangmere, Boxgrove and Oving

What is a Local Action Team?

Have you ever seen something in your village and thought “Someone should do something about that”. Well, you could be that someone.

Local Action Teams exist to draw residents and organizations together to share concerns, resources, ideas and projects regarding safety in your community. Meetings are supported and attended by all the public agencies involved such as Police, Housing Associations, Community Wardens, Chichester District Council, Tangmere Parish Council and the local school.

Other local groups which could be involved are youth clubs, Neighbourhood Watch organisers, Boxgrove and Oving Parish Councils and any other local group. But what is really needed is involvement from people in the community.

Local Action Teams have a budget to fund projects therefore they can make a difference.
