Local Action Team Meeting For Tangmere, Boxgrove and Oving What is a Local Action Team? Have you ever seen something in your village and thought “Someone should do something about that”. Well, you could be that someone. Local Action Teams exist to draw residents and organizations together to share concerns, resources, ideas and projects regarding safety in your community. Meetings are supported and attended by all the public agencies involved such as Police, Housing Associations, Community Wardens, Chichester District Council, Tangmere Parish Council and the local school. Other local groups which could be involved are youth clubs, Neighbourhood Watch organisers, Boxgrove and Oving Parish Councils and any other local group. But what is really needed is involvement from people in the community. Local Action Teams have a budget to fund projects therefore they can make a difference.
