At the Club's AGM, West Sussex Youth Service confirmed its support to keep Oving Youth Club open, but new members are still needed. We could also do with some voluntary help to allow our leaders to offer a greater range of activities to different groups of young people at the same time. If any parents or residents fancy helping the young people of our community, please get in touch with me, or just turn up on a Wednesday and introduce yourself to one of the leaders. The club starts again on Wednesday 24th September at the earlier time of 6.30pm, running through to 8pm. Unfortunately, Tara our leader in charge, is not available for the first few weeks, but we have managed to get replacement leaders to cover until her return. A full programme is planned with a wide variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts and cookery. We are also hoping to arrange some trips out. All young people from 9 to 16 are welcome, so come along and see what we are about. Admission to the club is only 50p a night. Roger England-Chairman 01243 788016 |

October 22nd Halloween games – apple bobbing, chubby bunnies, best costume October 29th HALF TERM -club not open November 5th Fire works display safety. November 12th Fun team & pair games – racial/ culture discussion with cards. November 19th Discussion board – 2 groups, 1 issue. November 26th Cooking – decide previous week with group members, either sweet or savoury. December 3rd Show & tell – bring in something from a hobby, holiday, day out or an object that has meaning and explain why.
